Billy Campbell as Pinhead

"Hi my name is billy campbell, I have been a Hellraiser fan for about as long as I remember. So last holloween I was able to show just how much I like the movies and books.

Here is my costume. It will be the start of the complete collection of the original cenobites costumes. Last year it was pinhead, this year it will be chatter.

In making the costume I only had one disappointment. The fact that I have no idea of how to make a mask So I had to settle for buying one. The one I did pick up seem to be the best out there for the money. With a mod of 2" siding nails the mask came out really well and held up all night. For the mask I took the nail ground the tips off and the attached them to the mask with press on fingernail glue, which seems to stick to the latex mask the best.

For the costume I used vinyl with a leather finish (very very hot though). I took the patters to women's full-length skirt and a woman's mock turtleneck and then cut to be very tight. I added 3 panels into the skirt so that it was more flowing. For the exposed skin (again not knowing latex) I used paintable clear caulking. Painted it in skin tones and for the muscles red with a clear lacquer finish to add shine.

I must say that the 4 months of work was very much worth it for 2 night of fun. I got the most comments that I have ever gotten. Scared the crap out of a few people and even got hit on just because of the pins in my head. This Halloween I am planning on getting a partner in crime to dress up, as pinhead and then I will go as chatter. I hope that with in the next few years I can get together CD, butterball, and the Women(does she even have a name, I have only seen her referred to as the female)."
