| July 15th, 2010 | Welcome to issue thirteen (unlucky for some) of the Hellbound Chronicles! "Thicker Than Water" is a new chapter in a storyline that started back in Issue 6, "The Damned Rogue". This time we have full colour art, again by Berty-J-A who also provides the cover and pin-up of a familiar Hellraiser character. "King of the World" is a new comic by Gordon Napier, who has co-written it and provided all the artwork. It's a different style than we've seen before, but hopefully you'll enjoy the unique look of this issue. As ever, we have plenty more to come with excellent comics by Berty-J-A and Anna on their way. To celebrate our first ten issues, this latest release is a special project. Issue 11 is our first volume of "Bindings", an anthology of sorts. It features artwork, stories and text from a variety of artists who have been involved in this project. It also includes some of our favourite pin-ups, pages and clean cover artwork from the series so far. There's also an unsolicited story called "The White Room" and our own thoughts on the project to date. I hope you enjoy this, and perhaps let us know of any content we could feature in a potential future volume of "Bindings". The next issue "King of the World" will be following shortly! After a small break due to numerous real world events, we can finally release Issue 10 of the comic, "Sisters Under the Skin". "The Downward Spiral" features the debut of artist Jesse Thomas, who also provides the fantastic cover work. Colours for the issue were done by Luis barroso and the pin-up was done by Sabre. The script was written by Gordon Napier, and, as you may have noticed, is our first direct sequel to a previous story. There will be more of these to come over the next few months. The script is one of the oldest we've had, dating to the time of Issues A and B and one we've wanted completed for a long time. Berty's art is perfect, and we hope you'll enjoy a different type of story which we hope will highlight the versatility of the Hellraiser mythology.
