I wanted to be tattooed with the Order of the Gash because they represent pleasure and pain, and good and evil. They are my favorite characters from all of the Hellraiser movies. I have researched each character specifically and each hold's their own personal definition for whom they truly are. I decided to add the Twins, and Chatterbeast because those 2 characters really interested me in part 4. I did not enjoy part 4, but those characters were done well. I felt they would fit nicely in the piece I wanted. I started the tattoo at the 2001 South Florida Tattoo Convention back in August. The 1st Cenobite to be completed was Xipe Totec (Pinhead). The last Cenobite to be completed was Dr. Channard. He was completed sometime in the beginning of February. He was never planned to go on till the end. I wasn't sure if he would fit, but there he is lurking in the shadows. Due to the sin of rememberance, Channard was able to over the Cenobites, and continue on his path of destruction. My experience was great! I enjoy getting tattooed. This was my first sleeve. There was some areas on the back of my ankle which were quite painful, but tasting pain is fine. I am glad I got this done. Hellraiser is my favorite movie of all time (parts I, II). The tattoo is still a bit shiny in some areas, once its completed healed 100%, professional photos will be taken, then sent to major tattoo magazines for publishing.
